Cola Beach in Goa

There are two beaches: Little Cola Beach in the north and the usual Cola Beach in the south which all together en frame two adjacent bays of the Arabian Sea.It is often said that this place is mysterious and even secret because both of its beaches are almost hidden by thick overgrown hills, until recent time tourists evaded them with their attention.

A distinctive feature of Cola Beach is the pure blue lagoon, which is formed by the river flowing into the sea.The distance between the sea and the lake is not so big, they are separated by the narrow strip of sand. The depth of the sea near the coast changes abruptly, plus there are stones on the sea bottom,so it is better to consult with lifeguards about the best place to swim at.Cola Beach has soft nice sand of golden hue,but still lots of huge stones can be found even on the seashore itself.

Cola Beach has not so many places for tourists to stay in.Some exclusive hotels and resorts are there. There are two types of accommodations:tents and bungalows. The beach has two shacks.Prices for accommodation and food are above average in South Goa.

So,those who have ever visited this part of region for holidays advice newcomers to visit this extraordinary and beautiful place, for a short period of time.
