Kalacha Beach in Goa

Kalacha Beach lies just north from Arambol on Goa's west coast. It is also accessible on foot from Querim Beach.Kalacha Beach is also called Paliem Beach, remains almost unspoiled today as it was before tourism changed the Goan coast. This is an untouched heaven away from the hassle of vendors and large tourists groups.

Kalacha Beach is famous for its picturesque fresh water lagoon and relaxed, bohemian vibes. The idyllic beach is surrounded by forests and has some rocky parts.Look out for fascinating wildlife such as exotic birds and monkeys, among the tropical vegetation around the lake.Take a dip in the warm Arabian Sea and then take a seat under the swaying palm trees to soak up the sun.At sunset, you can mingle with the locals and backpackers for a music sessions around a campfire to meet new travelers.

There are only few beach shacks along the beach where you can try out the different delicacies especially an Indian Fish Curry, prepared with the catch of the day and aromatic spices.Barter with the local vendors at the few stalls near the beach to purchase handicrafts, jewellery, beach wears and many other things. Those who love adventure can opt for paragliding or hang gliding from the beaches northern hilltop.

Plan a trip to Kalacha Beach and feel the beauty of this heaven by yourself
