Siridao Beach is located at a distance of 7 kms from Panaji.This is a beach with coarse sand that lies at the mouth of river Zuari.Along the beach you can also find the boats that are used by local fishermen.The beach is a heaven for shell collectors and you can easily find myriad types of shells here.Fishing is a major occupation for the village.Often you can see fishermen hauling nets,and preparing their canoes for fishing trips to the sea.
There are not many hotels in this area,except for a few small shacks.Mostly localities visit the beach in the evenings or on weekends.
Overall Siridao Beach is a very calm and quiet beach.
