Hollant Beach is located within a shallow bay that has a gentle slope towards the sea.Hollant Beach is a small beach located to the south of Bogmalo Beach.It is located at a distance of 7 kms from Vasco city. During the low tide the beach area substantially increases since the slopes of the beach is gradual and shallow.There are no currents flowing here and the beach is very safe for swimming.
Due to the shallow draft of the water at this beach,it is favorite amongst families.Often families can be seen frolicking in the shallow water and enjoy themselves.The Hollant Beach attracts huge crowd of tourists.It is known to be the only beach in Goa where one can see a sunrise.Those who visiting Bogmalo Beach will never miss this magnificent beach.Apart from serenity and the view,the sunset is really spectacular here.
No major hotels are located close to the beach.However,accommodations can be found with the locals at the guest houses and villas on rent.There are just couple of beach side shacks at this beach which provides you the great seafood cuisines.
