Kegdole Beach is located in Bardez,North Goa at the mouth of the Mandovi River opposite to the Panaji bank.The beach is located at a distance of 5 kms from Panaji and 15 kms from Mapusa.Towering just above the beach is the Reis Magos Fort which is the only spot to see.
The Kegdole Beach is close to Verem Lighthouse and INC Mandovi Jetty of the Indian Navy.The lighthouse is no longer in use.To the left of the beach you can find a lot sticking out of river.The area from the lighthouse to the beach is considered a good fishing spot.The beach offers a good view of the Mandovi bridge and the Mandovi river itself.
So if you want to do fishing in a quite area and if u have interests in forts,then Kegdole Beach is a good option to visit.
